This lesson will guide you through preparing your very own homemade cinnamon raisin bread, and if you are new to bread making, don't worry. The first thing you will need to do is gather together all of your ingredients. For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 Tbsp sugar, divided
  • 1 package active, dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 Tbsp canola oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
