Asian-inspired ingredients lend a lot of flavor, without adding calories, to this simple salad dressing. Let's learn the steps in making this delicious dressing which has only 5 calories per tablespoon.

To begin, gather all of your ingredients together. For this recipe you will need:

  • One bunch of fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp bottled, minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp chile paste
  • 4 lime wedges

If you are wondering where to find bottled, minced garlic, look in the produce section at the grocery store. It is usually near the fresh garlic. It is a very convenient product, used often in Asian cooking, eliminating the need to peel and mince fresh garlic cloves. For the chile paste, look in the Asian foods aisle, and select a bottled variety.
