The Bottom Line

This is a high-quality, non-stick pan that is safe to use at extremely high temperatures. If you are looking for non-stick performance, and want to avoid health hazards associated with Teflon coated cookware, this is a good option at a fairly reasonable price.

Pros

  • Remains non-stick to 824 degrees fahrenheit
  • Resistant to abrasion
  • Uses a Thermalon coating which is more environmentally friendly than other non-sticks
  • Superb non-stick performance

Cons

  • May dent if a fork is used to break up foods
  • A fitted lid is not available for the pan
  • Cleaning the pan in the dishwasher is not recommended

Description

  • Thermalon technology non-stick coating
  • Hard anodized aluminum body
  • 11 inch even cooking surface
  • Limited lifetime warranty

Guide Review - Martha Stewart GreenPan Fry Pan, 11-inch

Overall, this has been a good non-stick cookware addition to my kitchen. It performs well for breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, and french toast. It also performs well with vegetables such as onions and peppers, without any added oils or fats, which is an essential quality for low calorie cooking. The non-stick performance is pretty good, though while cooking eggs, I did experience a slight amount of sticking. This, however, cleaned up very easily in soapy water.

The 11-inch cooking surface is a good size as it is not too large to fry a single egg, yet can accomodate a larger portion of food such as scrambled eggs or several pancakes.

The pan qualifies as user-friendly, as it cleans up in a snap, though it is recommended that the pan be hand-washed as opposed to being placed in the dishwasher. After several uses, the pan still looks fantastic. The handle of the pan consistently remains cool to the touch while the cooking surface of the pan heats.

Dissapointed, Member WaynneLeslie

I have been a cook for many years and am always open to new inovative products. This one failed me on all counts. Food burned on the side of the pan and bottom coating scratched and left bare metal. VERRRY DISSAPOINTED!!
