Be sure to cook the shrimp just until it begins to curl, and turns a uniform pink color. Overcooked shrimp can easily become dry and chewy. To cut time even further for this recipe, purchase a package of frozen shrimp with the tail and shell already removed, and then simply thaw before cooking.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp bottled, minced garlic
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp mild hot sauce (such as Louisianna hot sauce)
  • 1/4 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Preparation:

1. Place a non-stick skillet, coated with cooking spray, over medium-high heat.

2. Cook the garlic for one minute, then add the shrimp, hot sauce, paprika, and pepper. Cook for an additional three minutes, or until the shrimp is a uniform pink color, and ends of the shrimp have curled close together.
