Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground Italian-style turkey sausage
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation:
1. Using your hands, combine all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Mix until the ingredients are well combined.
2. Use about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture to form a meatball, rolling it into a ball with your hands. Repeat until you have used all of the meat mixture.
3. Spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray, and heat over medium-high heat. Place the meatballs in the skillet, and cook for about 10 minutes, turning the meatballs occasionally, until completely cooked through.
