Chocolate Sauce

Low Calorie Chocolate Sauce

Drizzle this low calorie chocolate sauce on ice cream, ice milk, brownies, pie, or anything that could use a sweet chocolaty topping. Cooling the sauce will cause it too thicken slightly, making it a good dipping sauce for fresh fruit.

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes


  • 1/4 cup evaporated 2% milk
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla


1. Place a heavy saucepan over medium heat, and add all five ingredients.

2. Cook the mixture, while stirring, until the chocolate is melted, and the sauce is smooth. Serve warm, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
