This black bean dip recipe is suprisingly flavorful, and so satisfying. It is smooth and delicious, and works well as a side with enchiladas or tacos, or as a healthy, fiber-rich snack that will hold you over until the next meal. To begin, be sure you have the necessary ingredients. For this recipe, you will need:

1 tsp canola oil

1/4 of a medium onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced fine

1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained

2 Tbsp canned salsa (mild, medium, or hot according to your taste)

1 Tbsp full fat greek yogurt

1 Tbsp chopped cilantro

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1/8 tsp salt
