These pita chips are flavorful enough to be eaten alone. However, they are even better accompanied by a low-calorie spread, and served as a tasty appetizer or wholesome snack.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 3 6-inch whole wheat pitas
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut each pita into quarters. Then, cut each quarter in half, making eight pieces per pita. Cut all three pitas.

3. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder and salt.

4. Place the pita pieces on a large baking sheet, and spray each piece with a small amount of cooking spray. Sprinkle evenly with the garlic and salt mixture.

5. Bake for 8 minutes, or until lightly browned.
